FilmBrazil strengthen the force of its brand

Investing R$ 1.1 million, the institution will publish more ads and will create a lounge on the beach near the Palais. It also promotes international meetings with professionals from Brazilian production companies.

FilmBrazil, a project of the Brazilian Association of Production of Audivisual Works (Apro) with the support of the Brazilian Trade and Investiment Agency (Apex), will invest strongly in the 2009 Cannes Advertising Festival, held from June 21st to 27th. From the total investment to promote the brand in the international market (R$ 2 million), R$ 1.1 million will be assigned to maximize FilmBrazil and the Brazilian Advertising market participation in the event.
One of the changes is the new location of the lounge. Last year, it was in an apartment in front of the Palais des Festivals. Now, the lounge will be located on the beach sand of the Palais. The structure is a 100 square meters acclimatized tent where professionals of the international market can see the quality of the Brazilian production.
The new lounge will also hold workshops with Brazilian professionals that will discuss topics such as the Brazilian music, technology and the use of new media in Brazil. FilmBrazil has settled partnerships with Sagatiba, the Brazilian Fruit Institute (Ibraf), and the Brazilian Coffee Industry Association (Abic).
Furthermore, FilmBrazil will create a extensive communication campaign to promote its lounge. The material is being developed by EC, which was responsible for the last year campaign. It will be released on Monday, 8, with a guide that was created to support Brazilian production houses to deal with international companies, among other topics.
