FilmBrazil has been active, since 2002, as an APRO's impartial project, internationally enhancing the high levels of quality of Brazilian advertising productions and its unique creativity. Since then, FilmBrazil has helped to strengthen the country’s image as an international production pole.
Today, FilmBrazil counts on members of the areas of sound and film production, rental stores and post-production. For each sector, the program develops a series of actions of commercial promotion aiming at the international market.
FilmBrazil project has the governmental support of APEX-Brasil ("The Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency"). This support allows FilmBrazil to subsidize its members' participation in their actions, besides helping them to strengthen their trademarks in a more serious and ampler way than individual strategies could achieve. The purposes of this union are the increment in the exports of advertising production, as well as the expansion and diversification of the exporting base of this sector.
Among the actions already taken, the following should be highlighted: participation in events like Cannes Lions, Board’s Summit and Locations Trade Show, in addition to extensive exhibitions in the international media, and strengthening of the networking with the world’s advertising industry.
